Spendscoop is built on one principle: your financial data belongs to you, and only you. No servers. No cloud. No exceptions.
Spendscoop doesn't collect anything. Everything happens right on your phone — there's no internet connection involved, no account to sign up for, and nothing is ever sent anywhere. The app simply saves your transactions in a file on your own device.
Spendscoop only looks at messages from bank senders (like
AD-HDFCBK or BZ-SBI) to find your
transactions — personal texts from friends and family are never
read or stored.
The original message is saved on your phone so you can look it up later in the transaction details. It's never sent anywhere else.
All your transactions are saved in a private file that only Spendscoop can access — other apps can't see it, and it isn't included in phone backups by default.
Transaction alerts are created and shown entirely on your phone — no outside server sends them to you. Turn them off anytime in Settings.
Open Spendscoop → Settings → Clear All Data. This deletes everything immediately and permanently. Since Spendscoop doesn't store anything anywhere else, there's nothing left over to worry about.
Uninstalling the app achieves the same result.
